Climbers, photographers, and adventurers
Soul and Summit is a family-and-friends team built around a shared love of climbing and getting people onto rock. Every member brings something different to the wall.

Ian Terry
Ian has spent over 30 years climbing, with roots that go back to before he was born: his parents met at a crag. His climbing is grounded in trad, drawn to routes that demand awareness, control, and the ability to move through terrain that doesn't give anything away for free.
His background is built on hands-on work, restoration woodworking, farming, and nearly a decade teaching historical swordsmanship. Those disciplines shaped how he understands movement, pressure, and precision. Alongside that, he works as a programmer, applying structured thinking to training systems and progression in the field.
He brings that same focus into climbing instruction, helping others develop movement, judgment, and confidence that hold up in real terrain.
He approaches climbing as a tool for building real capability, something that carries into every part of life.

Andrew Beaulieu
Andrew has been seriously climbing for the past three years, and from the moment he started, he fell in love with the sport. He's especially drawn to sport and trad climbing, where the exhilaration and adrenaline keep him coming back for more. For Andrew, climbing isn't just about the physical challenge, it's about the thrill, and the sense of adventure that comes with every route.
Growing up, Andrew was always deeply connected to the outdoors. Whether he was surfing, skiing, or dirt biking, he was constantly seeking out movement and exploration in nature, so it felt inevitable that he would eventually find his way to climbing. That same passion now fuels his desire to share the sport with others. He genuinely enjoys teaching and introducing people to climbing, helping them build confidence and discover their own connection to it.
Looking ahead, Andrew is excited to continue progressing both as a climber and as a guide. He's motivated to refine his skills, take on new challenges, and grow into a role where he can lead others safely while sharing the excitement and beauty of climbing.

Leia Michelle Terry
Michelle has been passionate about climbing, photography, and yoga for many years. She combines these interests to create unique experiences that inspire and educate others. As a certified Yoga Alliance instructor, she integrates mindfulness and movement into climbing instruction, helping climbers develop both physical and mental strength.
Michelle's photography captures the beauty and intensity of climbing, focusing on authentic moments and the connection between people and nature. Her writing complements her visual work, providing insights and stories that engage and inform the climbing community.
Looking ahead, Michelle aims to continue exploring new climbing destinations, refining her photography skills, and sharing her love for yoga and movement with climbers of all levels.

Jade Brennan
Jade has been climbing on and off since childhood, but over the past three years she's become truly dedicated to the sport. She's especially drawn to outdoor top rope climbs and bouldering, where she enjoys both the physical challenge and the connection to nature.
With a background in environmentalism and a bachelor's degree in environmental science, Jade brings a strong awareness of sustainability to everything she does. She's passionate about finding ways for people to experience and enjoy the outdoors responsibly, something she feels climbing can offer when practiced with care and respect for the environment.
Beyond climbing, Jade has a deep love for photography, particularly capturing movement in nature. Whether it's surfing, climbing, or other action-filled moments, she's drawn to documenting people in their element. On climbing expeditions, she especially values candid shots that reflect people's authentic, unfiltered selves.
Looking ahead, Jade hopes to continue expanding her climbing skills by exploring new techniques and styles, learning from those around her, and deepening her practice through yoga, particularly inspired by Michelle's teachings.

Maya Terry
Maya is eight years old, has been climbing for two years, and is living proof that the best time to start is whenever you're ready. She shows up at every expedition — including the 4-month trek across Europe — with more stoke than most adults. She's the team's reminder that climbing isn't about grades or gatekeeping. It's about getting on the rock and loving it.
Where we're going next
The whole team is on a 4-month climbing expedition across Europe — Ireland, Scotland, England, France, the Alps, and Italy — building firsthand route knowledge for future client expeditions. Maya included. If you want to be first on the list when we open international trips, get in touch.
